A Spanish photographer by the name of Fernando Braga managed to capture the exact moment a lightning bolt hit the iconic and famous statue in Brazil of Christ The Redeemer. He posted the pictures on Instagram and they went viral.
The photos are awe-inspiring to say the least. The photos were accompanied by a long caption in Spanish. The photographer also mentioned what kind of camera he used to capture this phenomenal moment.
According to the caption, the photographer used a Nikon D800. The photos look eerily divine, almost as if announcing the second coming of Christ. The photographer also shared a video of the images on his Instagram account in addition to the images.
The post with the images has close to 75 thousand likes and even more views, whereas the video has more than 30 thousand likes and even more views.
