The World’s First floating Smart Police Station Comes To Dubai

After floating restaurants, the world’s first floating police station now comes to Dubai! H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, inaugurated the Smart Police Station, on 9 October at GITEX 2019. Dubai Police and Kleindienst, the group behind the luxurious Floating Seahorse Villa- are the brains behind the project.

What’s It?

The floating Smart Police Station (SPS), is expected to open in 2020 and will be located at the World Islands. The smart police station will resemble the floating seahorse villa that will have its address in the Heart of Europe.

The police station will provide unmanned innovative, high performance e-police services to the residents. In addition to this, the partnership also aims to promote happiness, sustainability and public safety through smart technology and by educating the community on protecting marine life.

Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police said: “This extraordinary, unique and pioneering project has grabbed the attention of police and security institutions around the world, as they seek to replicate the experience in their countries.”

In addition, the SPS will also play a crucial role in promoting sustainability and marine life protection in World Islands and in the rest of the UAE. Furthermore, residents, schools and tourists will enjoy a series of visits to the police station to witness the positive impact Kleindienst has on the marine ecosystem.
