We had fun on our recent episode of Sunday Brunch with the energetic duo Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff along with our Editor-In-Chief Kamiya Jani. We talked about food, travel, behind-the-scenes for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and a lot more. Today, we talk about why Akshay wanted to work with his new co-star, Tiger. Why Did Akshay Kumar Want To Work With Tiger Shroff?
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is Akshay and Tiger’s first film together. Both these actors are fitness freaks who are also famous for their quirky dance moves and martial arts. When hobbies and talents align, vibes will surely match and that is exactly what happened when we asked Akshay how he felt about working with his new co-star.
He informed us that he wanted to work with Tiger in a movie because there was a lot of common ground between them. Akshay listed out that Tiger is into martial arts and sports, does his stunts on the screen and is a disciplined man. With all these similarities, Akshay was drawn to work with him and make a great action film.

On The Sets, They Bonded Over These Things
Tiger shared that they played many sports on the sets of their film which helped them bond. Then, he mentioned, “mutual love and admiration for each other sort of translated on the screen.” Seems like the love was a little too much because, in this film (spoiler alert), there were doppelgangers for both of their characters.
Akshay mentioned earlier that they even ate together as he has a kitchen van alongside his vanity van whenever he shoots. With great fitness comes a strict diet and Akshay disclosed that he only seasons his food with salt. Kamiya even got to taste beetroot tikki, avocado mango salad and more from his kitchen van.
