This Canadian Family Is Touring The World Before Their Children Lose Vision

A Canadian family of six is taking a world tour in a quest to fill their visual memory. While touring the world is always a good idea, this family is presently travelling for different reasons. Edith Lemay, with her husband Sébastian Pelletier, had gone on travel trips too, but never on an extended family trip with the children. However, this time, the entire family is going places after Lemay and Pelletier’s kids are diagnosed with a genetic condition. According to a report by CNN Travel, this condition will eventually lead the kids to lose their vision. So, with the hopes of making visual memories for their kids diagnosed with the genetic condition, the family is off for a trip to create ‘incredible experiences.’

This Family From Canada Makes A Lifetime Of Memories With Their Kids

Before heading for the trip, the couple made a bucket list of things their kids wished to do. They originally planned to go for the trip in 2020 but couldn’t due to the pandemic. With the relaxed travel restrictions, the Canadian family began the journey in March 2022. Although the Canadian family left Montreal without a definite itinerary, they knew where they wished to visit. They started the trip from Namibia, then Zambia and Tanzania. There the kids got close to a lot of flora and fauna. Later, the family headed to Turkey, where they spent almost a month. After Turkey, they visited Mongolia and then Indonesia.

This Canadian family also aims to develop strong coping skills in their children from the travel, apart from sighting the fantastic views and beauty of the world. In addition, they sought for their kids to see places and animals they did not see at home.
