Banana bread will never go out of fashion. From the COVID-19 lockdown days, when we’d whip banana bread at home to our occasional homemade indulgences, this dish is evergreen. No wonder it was one of the most searched recipes on Google! Now, there’s an Eggless Biscoff Banana Bread recipe on Instagram and it’s so good that you’ll go bananas for it!

The Chef’s Mango Malai Toast and Dahi Toast were tried and tested by me, and boy were they delicious! This time, she has a cool Eggless Biscoff Banana Bread recipe that you’ll want to get your hands on it right away. So, without further ado, read on below for the recipe.

For the Crumble:

  • 2 Tbsps of Flour
  • 1/4th Cup of Biscoff Biscuits
  • 2 Tbsps of Butter
  • 1/2 Tbsp of Sugar
  • A pinch of Salt

For the Batter :

  • 1 + 1/2 Cup/ 240g of Flour/ Maida
  • 1 teaspoon/ 5g of Baking Soda
  • 1.5 teaspoons/ 4.5g of Baking Powder
  • 3 Overripe Bananas
  • 1/4th cup/ 60g of Curd/ Dahi
  • 1/4th Cup/ 60g of Milk
  • 2 teaspoons/ 10ml of Lemon Juice
  • 1/4th teaspoon/ 2.5g of Salt
  • 1/3rd Cup/ 55g of Melted Butter
  • 1/2 Cup/ 120g of Castor Sugar


First, pre-heat the oven to 170 °C. In a mixing bowl, add peeling overripe bananas and then using a fork, mash them up. Next, add the lime juice and sugar. Then, mix them up well until the sugar combines. Then, add the melted butter, milk and curd. Mix the wet ingredients till it forms a homogeneous mixture.

For the dry ingredients— baking powder, flour, salt and baking powder— sift them. Then in a cut-and-fold motion, gently combine the batter. Pour this batter into a greased and lined loaf tin. Coming to the crumble, mix the crushed biscoff biscuits with flour, salt, sugar, melted butter and cinnamon powder.

Then generously top the banana bread batter with the biscoff crumble. Bake this batter in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes. Do this until a sewer comes out clean. Then, de-mould this bread and let it cool down gently. Garnish this Eggless Biscoff Banana Bread with warm biscoff spread and you’re good to go!
