Away from the party noises, there’s a hidden beach in South Goa, where the sea is kissed by the waters of a bobbling waterfall. Kakolem Beach is an isolated and profoundly serene beach, around 29 kilometres from Margao and nearly 7.6 kilometres from the Cabo Da Rama Fort. It is known to be lying at the edge of the plateau. One needs to walk down a few cragged steps for around ten minutes to reach Kakolem Beach, after crossing a muddy trail.
