The very first sweet dish recommendation on @FirdausLaibah’s list is Anarsa. This is a round, ball-shaped sweet made of rice flour, khoya, ghee and poppy seeds. The netizen called it her favourite. At first glance, it might remind you of gulab jamun. The second sweet on her list is Khaja, a golden deep-fried layered pastry dunked in sugar syrup. It resembles the Arabic baklava’s distant cousin.
