This Man Took His First Flight At The Age Of 27 & The Internet Is Cheering Him On

Flying via planes and air travel, in general, is now considered as routine as taking an auto or a rickshaw. Millions of people everyday fly within and outside of their country without a second thought. However, there are many people for whom flying is not routine but a privilege. Today, we have for you, the story of a person who took his first flight at the age of 27! And in an uncommon show of kindness, the Internet congratulated his small win.

Many of us have parents who have never even set foot in an airport let alone travelling in a plane. And in India, where the majority of the population lives in rural areas, planes are just something to be admired from the ground.

However, this young man melted the hearts of Netizens by announcing his very first flight. Hemanth, a 27-year-old, took to Twitter on the 28th of January, 2022 to announce that this was the very first time that he was travelling on an aeroplane. In his heartwarming post on the microblogging social media website, he shared a picture of his boarding pass.

The caption on this post read: “This is the first time I’m travelling in flight and I’m 27yrs old. Small W in my life, feeling so happy!”

Internet Partakes In His Small Victory

To Hemanth’s post, many responded with congratulations and some even shared their own memories of the first time they flew on a flight. Some mentioned how their first flight was a proud moment, not just for them but also for their family members as they were the first person to fly from their respective families.
