Legoland has launched a new Wanna Read? initiative, which allows visitors to donate books to young patients across various hospitals in the UAE. The initiative, started by Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, allows families to donate brand new or their own books.

Visitors can drop off the books at a collection centre set up in MINILAND. At the end of the holy month, the books will be donated to pediatric wards in hospitals across the UAE. In addition, if you’re willing to a bit more, you could sign up as a volunteer too.

That’s not all! The entire theme park is doing its bit to support the noble cause and you’ll find multiple offers including buy-one-get-one, and donate the second to Wanna Read?.

Lastly, ten per cent of the ticket sales will also go towards the initiative. So, that’s just another reason to head here.

What Else?

Meanwhile, Dubai will soon be home to a brand new Legoland hotel. Scheduled to open doors in 2020, the hotel will scream all things Lego. This is the seventh Lego-themed hotel in the world after the ones in Malaysia, California and other counties.
