This includes everything from making to packaging and much more. The Government has launched an ‘Eat Right Movement’ under which the prison got an ‘Excellent’ remark. This prison has made headlines for serving five-star quality food. Also, they received the tag ‘Eat Right Campus’. Now how did this happen? The prison staff, including prisoners and jail officers, took ample measures to ensure the safety and hygiene of food. The kitchen and storage are always clean. The staff that prepares food always uses full hand gloves, caps, and aprons as a hygiene procedure. Further, everyone takes proper care of hygiene and safety. The Director General of the prison has set the orders for the staff to maintain the standards, further congratulating them for such an achievement.
Other Prison To Get Such Rating
The Farrukhabad jail is another such prison to get a five-star rating. The officials at these prisons have taken a serious interest in the ‘Eat Right Movement’ and worked towards achieving it. These prisons are a symbol of change. Moreover, the hostels that serve low-quality food to the students should definitely take lessons from them. The Government’s efforts to improve food quality for the citizens is a welcomed decision.
