Ayesha Khan started her project, Food ATM in Ajman, in the year 2019. An engineer by profession, she came to Dubai in the year 2006. Her inspiring journey started in 2019 with 6,000 meals a day. However, today it has grown tremendously! Currently, this project makes a whopping 50,000 meals a day. This is especially inspiring because even though the cost of living has continued to rise, this lady has still been serving hearty and nutritious food for just AED3.

Food ATM Has Guinness World Certificate For Most Meals Delivered In 8 Hours

However, that’s not all this noble cause does! During Ramadan, they offer free iftar meals every day. According to Ayesha, this is hardly difficult as all a person needs is just a little compassion to help others. It’s worth noting that this factory is located in Ajman, but the good folks here try to help as many people as they can throughout the United Arab Emirates. The best part about this project is that it believes in the fact that food is a basic human right, and so, they ensure to feed everyone.
This means people from different walks of life and backgrounds can enjoy their reasonably priced meals. Did you know, Food ATM has also been awarded a Guinness World Certificate for the most community meals delivered in eight hours? Yes, the project had managed to deliver 50,744 meals and thus, they were given this certificate on May 5, 2021.
With such a noble cause, fuelling, the people here to serve others, this journey is certainly inspiring for everybody. So, this story just goes to show that there are people out there who are willing to go the extra mile for the unfortunate.
