Thinking of buying your first home in Dubai? The Dubai Home Festival has added another reason to take the plunge. One eligible resident who registers for the First-Time Home Buyer Program for the first time during the festival could win a home makeover worth AED 100,000 from prize partner Chattels & More. You don’t have to make a purchase to enter the draw.

How To Enter The Draw

The eighth Dubai Home Festival (DHF) runs from 16 October to 1 November under the theme ‘MAKE DUBAI HOME’. Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the festival is offering the prize to encourage more residents to take their first steps towards homeownership.

To qualify for the draw, residents must register for the First-Time Home Buyer Program for the first time during the festival dates. Those who registered before the festival should check the official rules to confirm whether they qualify.

Interested residents can register through the Dubai Land Department website or the Dubai REST app, where they can also find information about eligibility.

What Does The First-Time Home Buyer Program Offer?

Launched in 2025 by the Dubai Land Department and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the programme aims to make buying a home in Dubai more accessible.

It brings together 22 participating property developers and five financial institutions: Emirates NBD, Emirates Islamic Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank, Commercial Bank of Dubai and Mashreq Bank.

Eligible participants can benefit from priority access to selected property launches and home financing options offered by participating banks. These benefits are subject to each provider’s conditions and the buyer meeting the relevant eligibility requirements.

The partnership connects the process of buying a home with the next step, making it feel like your own. The AED 100,000 makeover from Chattels & More gives one winner the opportunity to refresh their living space after taking that first step towards homeownership.

Mohammed Feras Arayqat, Vice President of Retail Calendar and Promotions at DFRE, said the collaboration supports the festival’s wider aim of helping residents build a life in Dubai, extending its focus beyond shopping and home retail.
