1. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, and is also the largest mosque in the UAE. Visitors are welcomed here to come and see the beauty of the mosque, which features 24 Carat gold plated chandeliers and is home to the world’s largest handcrafted carpet. The chandelier in the main prayer hall is known to be one of the largest chandeliers in the world that weighs twelve tonnes which is 15 meters in height and 10 meters in diameter. The mosque can hold up to 40,000 worshipers at once.

2. Louvre 

Louvre Abu Dhabi is the largest museum in the Arabian Peninsula with a  total area covering approximately 260,000 sq ft. The origin of the Louvre stems from the combination of two cultures, France and the United Arab Emirates to develop a new kind of cultural institution. The museum is designed as a seemingly floating dome structure & its web-patterned dome allowing the sun to filter through. 3. Yas Island

5.  Women’s Handicraft  Centre 

The women handicraft centre showcases local arts and crafts which gives you a chance to learn about local artist handwork. The centre is managed by the Abu Dhabi Women’s Association. You will find a small round building across the museums where the female artists display distinctive Arabian oils, handmade souvenirs, incense, local dress, silver threadwork and weaving. You should remove your shoes before entering each hut, and ask for photography permission.
