1. Farmers Market 

With winters around the corner, Baker & Spice’s is back with its Farmer’s Market where residents can buy fresh and organic food and vegetables. Starting Friday 2nd November the market will take place every Friday and Saturday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm until the heat picks up again. It aims to connect farmers from all over the UAE who produces organic food and veggies which is picked fresh in the morning and brought directly to you at the lowest possible prices. Space is absolutely for free for all local organic farmers giving them an opportunity to connect directly with the customers. The Market is a community-led initiative with the philosophy to source real locally grown produce at its freshest. It’s a place where customer directly connects with the local farmers and can get every information about the freshly produced food and veggies. Customers can also place orders for specific veggies they would like the farmers to grow or give them seeds for the same.

2. Trick Or Treat Event At Riverland 

It’s that time of the year where you get dressed in your spookiest attire and keep those candies ready for trick or treating. Dress up in your spookiest costume this Halloween and join Riverland Dubai from 30th October until the 3rd November for buckets of candy, amazing prizes and a mouthwatering spread. It is hosting the biggest trick or treats event In Dubai and are going to distribute over 50,000 treats this year. Distributing candies is not the only fun thing there. You can also win various prizes for categories like best-dressed family, best-dressed child and best-dressed adult. All the winners in every category get four park tickets to Dubai Parks & Resort and meal vouchers for Al Mashowa, as well as a one night’s stay at Lapita Hotel. They are also running a social media contest where visitors are encouraged to post pictures of their spooktacular time in order to win mystery prizes.

3. Venetian Themed Street Fest

As the winter season kicks in, its time for all outdoor activations and fun to begin. Similarly City Walk, the design-inspired open-air lifestyle is gearing up to launch a Venetian-themed Street Fest. The festival is spread over three consecutive weekends starting from 18 October to 03 November where a range of spectacular performances and activities are lined up for the entire family. From 5:00 pm until midnight there will be a Venetian grand parade with roaming entertainers, such as dancers, musicians, Italian classical singers, stilt walkers and unicyclists. Visitors can also get chance to win floating prizes that are up for grabs throughout the hourly parades or win prizes from up to 25 participating retail and dining outlets. To capture your perfect fun-filled moment head down to a gondola-shaped photo booth that is specially created for the festival.  

4. Arabs Are Not Funny 

Dubai Opera is all set to host a comedy night in association with Arts Canteen’s ‘Arabs Are Not Funny’  for the second time this year on 1st November 2018.The event is back for the second time this year with an exciting new line-up of comedians. Join four comedians for an evening that will leave you in splits of laughter with tickets starting from AED 95 only. 4 standup comedians will take up a laughter marathon that will surely be hysterically funny, a night that’ll be memorable. The show will be broadcasted in English which will include observational comedy and stereotype-smashing social commentary. Performers for the evening are Omar Hamdi, Fatiha El Ghorri, Nabil Abdulrashid and Maria Shehata.
