Noida To Get An Airport-Style Bus Terminal
Bus terminals are not supposed to feel like airports, right? But this thinking might soon change as Noida is preparing for a major upgrade. The Uttar Pradesh government is now planning to build a modern airport-style bus terminal in Sector 90, Noida. Passengers can expect lounges, air-conditioned waiting zones, restaurants, shopping spaces, food courts, and even VIP passenger rooms.
According to News24, the bus terminal is going to be super fancy and will replace the old depot in Noida. Officials are getting ready to ask for technical offers or bids for the construction soon. If everything goes according to plan, the construction work will begin soon, and the terminal is expected to become operational in about two years.

The Bus Terminal Will Operate 24 Hours A Day
According to News24, about 55% of the space will be reserved for passengers, while the remaining 45% will be used for shops, restaurants, a movie theatre, and other businesses. Unlike many other bus depots in the city, this new airport-style bus terminal will operate 24 hours a day. This means buses will run all day and night, making travel much more convenient for passengers.
The government is also planning direct bus routes from this terminal to places like Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir. Special AC buses are also being planned to take passengers directly to the Noida International Airport, which is expected to become operational soon.
You should also know that Noida is getting 50 new electric buses to make commuting easier. These buses will connect places like Botanical Garden, Sector 62, Greater Noida, and Surajpur.
