UAE Announces Dh 1 Million Prizes For Celebrating The Love Of Prophet Muhammed

The UAE has inaugurated the second edition of an award. You can expect w a total prize pool of Dh1 million, to honour Prophet Muhammad and propagate his legacy. The ‘For the Love of the Prophet’ award comprises national and international categories, searching for the greatest works by young people who use poetry, painting, calligraphy, and multimedia to depict Islam and its Prophet in a peaceful manner (PBUH).

What Is This Initiative About?

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, stressed the importance of diverse forms in spreading the Prophet’s biography. He also highlighted the teachings and values learnt via study, literary and creative expression on Monday.

His opening remarks during a press conference in Fujairah revealed details of the award’s second edition. The event will take place in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Youth as part of the Al Bader project. This project was recently set up under the supervision of the Crown Prince of Fujairah.

Sheikh Mohammed spoke about the importance of fostering talents and assisting generations who study the Prophet’s biography and Islamic history in order to spread Islam’s mission of modesty and compassion over the world.

How To Register For This Mega Prize

People can visit the award’s Albdr website and official Instagram account to participate and learn more about the award’s criteria and other details. The deadline to enter is September 25th.

There are several award categories. The prize is split into two categories: national and international. The local prize is for pupils that fall in the age groups: 6-10 years old, 11-17 years old, and a youth category (18-25 years). All ethnicities living in the UAE are eligible to compete in the national award. All ages and nations in the world are welcome to compete in the international division.
