UAE Signs New Visa Agreement, Citizens Can Travel To Peru Without Visa For 90 Days

The UAE government is passing iconic judgments and how. After legalising live-in relationships for unmarried couples, the country is now ensuring to strengthen ties with its neighbours. Recently, the government announced that UAE-ites could travel visa-free to Israel for 90 days, and now it has added one more country to the list. The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC ) has announced that UAE nationals bearing diplomatic, special and mission passports can travel to the Republic of Peru without pre-entry visas and for stays of up to 90 days for each visit. The Effect Has Come Into Place From November 8, 2020

Well, not only the ones with special passports but Emiratis with regular passports can too travel visa-free to Peru for stays of up to 90 days over 180 days. In terms of this decision, it has already come into effect from Sunday, November 8, 2020. This announcement was made by MoFAIC. About the same, they said that UAE citizens who wish to travel to Peru have to follow all the preventive measures for the covid-19 pandemic. Emiratis will have to carry a negative PCR test result taken no more than 72 hours before, upon entering the country.

Keeping The Covid-19 Pandemic In Mind, Entry To Peru Is Suspended At Present

Besides this, the officials also said, 

“Emirati travellers will also have to fill out the form of the Ministry of Health in Peru certifying they are in good health via the link https://e-notificacion.migraciones.gob.pe/dj-salud/, and quarantine for 14 days upon arrival to Peru.” 

Furthermore, they added that entry to Peru for tourism is currently suspended amid the pandemic. 

Speaking about strengthening the ties between the two nations, 

Khalid Abdullah Belhoul, Under-Secretary of the UAE’s MoFAIC, said that the agreement indicates the strong ties between both the countries. The ties were founded on mutual understanding,  respect and a will to reinforce bilateral relations. The new arrangement will also help share the visions of the leadership of the two countries. And will serve common goals and interests.
