The 16th edition of Emirates Lit Fest is currently underway till February 6, Tuesday. This edition features an incredible lineup of 160 speakers, workshops, and programs. And this event is happening at the InterContinental in Dubai Festival City.
2. Abu Dhabi Police Enlists Safety Guidelines For Using Firewood & Electric Heating At Home

Abu Dhabi Police has released some safety guidelines for the public. This has been put for using firewood and heating appliances in one’s house. For instance, people have been asked to avoid starting a fire using firewood or charcoal inside. However, if one does indulge in this activity inside the houses, they must ensure there are special ducts for the rising smoke to maintain proper ventilation.

3. Fake DXB Social Media Page Claims Of Selling Lost Baggage
A fake Dubai International Airport is claiming to sell lost baggage for as low as AED8. Similar posts have taken over social media with such posts. According to reports, such schemes apparently involve clearance of the airport warehouse. Therein lost bags have remained unclaimed for more than six months! So the public has been asked to steer clear of such scams.
4. 2nd International Conference On Philosophy To Happen In Abu Dhabi

Mohammed Bin Zayed University of Humanities will be hosting the 2nd International Conference on Philosophy. Yes, this will be happening from February 6 to 7, 2024 at St. Regis Al Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi.
