UAE’s New President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Made Abu Dhabi A Cultural Hub

His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, died on Friday, May 13. After his sad demise, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was immediately announced as president of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi’s crown prince was immediately elected for the throne that was now empty.

The Federal Supreme Council elected Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sheikh Mohamed, sometimes known as MBZ, is one of the Arab world’s most prominent leaders. He is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom, and he heads one of the Gulf’s best-equipped forces.

His Highness the President of the UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is an art enthusiast. He encouraged others to build Abu Dhabi into a centre for culture and creative endeavours in the Arab world and beyond. He was a driving force behind the development of the Saadiyat Cultural District. That destination is also known as a hub for global culture.
