The UK just unveiled its quirkiest ever wedding venue— a 3-tiered wedding cake. So, you can actually have your cake and get married inside it too! Joana Vasconcelos, a Portuguese artist created a stunning 12m (39 feet) high pavilion in the style of a wedding cake at Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire.

3-Tiered Cake Is UK’s New Fun, Gorgeous Wedding Venue, Grabbing Eyeballs

Joana Vasconcelos’s sculpture is rightly called Wedding Cake. Clad in ceramic titles, it stands tall surrounded by a grove of trees at Waddesdon Manor. The project commissioned by the Rothschild Foundation, offers an absurd slice of joy for people of all ages. It’s like walking into the woods of the Hansel & Gretel fairytale, only to spot a giant, sumptuous-looking 3-tiered wedding cake, standing in all its glory.

The Portuguese artist shared pictures of this beautiful sculpture on her Instagram handle. Furthermore, Joana Vasconcelos had a dream of setting up a wedding cake tower for the Rothschild family’s English country house. Looks like her dream and the dream of many couples to get married in a fun, delectable venue came true, too. According to an article by The Guardian, Wedding Cake is a tribute to the Victorian party house as it played host to modern parties.

Wedding Cake is a tower of joy and love. Here, you can marry your beloved in this fun-loving venue and click Insta-friendly pictures. Built with Portuguese ceramic tiles, the grand tower has splashes of pastel blue and yellow hues. Moreover, the interiors take you back in history with its 18th-century tapestries, paintings by Gainsborough and Watteau and rare porcelain. It’s like a French fantasy land!

You can tour this glorious venue from 18th June to 26th October; every Thursday from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm. And on select Sundays from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. So yes, apart from hosting events, like weddings you can always visit here for a tour of this stunning 3-tiered cake venue.
