Ras Al Khaimah’s mountain has been the UAE’s adrenaline capital for a while now. We all know it’s the home to the region’s longest zipline and views that make every Instagram grid look better. But soon, you won’t have to drive back down after your hike. Saij Mountain Lodge is opening on Jebel Jais before the end of 2026, and it’s shaping up to be the emirate’s most scenic staycation yet.
Saij Mountain Lodge Is Opening On Jebel Jais Before End Of 2026
Sitting 1,680 metres above sea level, the property will feature 70 lodges scattered across the UAE’s highest peak. It aims to be connected by landscaped pathways linking restaurants, lounges and accommodation. Basically, you wake up, step onto your terrace, and the “view” is the entire Hajar mountain range, no cap.
Mountain Living, Minus The Rough Schedule
This is very much a slow-down kind of stay. Along with hiking trails and guided sunset hikes, Saij Mountain Lodge is planning sunrise meditation sessions and wellness activities rooted in traditional Arabian techniques. There’s even a traditional farming experience and cooking classes for guests who want to get their hands dirty (in a good way).

An official opening date and room rates haven’t been confirmed yet. But with the property targeting a late-2026 debut, it’s one to bookmark if you’re already planning your winter staycation calendar. RAK’s mountain and coastal tourism has had a strong run this year too, with the emirate recording its best-ever first half for visitor numbers between January and June, so demand for a stay like this one won’t take long to build.

Ras Al Khaimah’s Major Hospitality Moment
Ras Al Khaimah’s hospitality pipeline is genuinely stacked right now. Rotana Ras Al Khaimah – The Mangroves is expected to open by September 2026, and further down the line, 2027 brings the long-awaited Wynn Al Marjan Island alongside NH Collection and Janu on Al Marjan Island.
For anyone who’s done the Jebel Jais day trip and thought, “I wish I didn’t have to leave,” Saij Mountain Lodge might just be the answer. Watch this space for rates and booking dates closer to launch.
