1. Southern Railway Might Operate Diwali Special Vande Bharat In Kerala
A plan to run a special Vande Bharat Express train in Kerala during the Diwali season in order to alleviate traffic congestion is being thought of by Southern Railway. On November 9, the special train would depart from Chennai and travel to Bengaluru, Kochi, and Chennai.
The Vande Bharat Special train will travel the Ernakulam-Bengaluru route on November 9–12 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) if the request is approved. Eight rakes—if the offer is implemented—will be able to accommodate the weekend traffic.
2. Indian Railways To Increase Frequency On Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Route
According to media sources, the Indian Railways plans to expand the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express’s running hours from three days to six days per week in response to increased demand.
The railway agency is planning to produce a new schedule that will take effect on November 1st, just in time for the holidays. The semi-high-speed CSMT-Madgaon-CSMT Vande Bharat train would operate six days a week, with the exception of Fridays, under the revised schedule.

3. No Trains Are Delayed For Vande Bharat, Clarifies Southern Railway
According to the Southern Railway no train’s schedule was hampered in Kerala for Vande Bharat trains, just days after the Kerala Human Rights Commission filed a complaint in Kozhikode opposing the stopping of other trains for the Vande Bharat Express.
The Southern Railway said in a news release on Friday that Vande Bharat allowed some trains to travel faster and ensure that they arrived at their destination on schedule. According to Indian railways, that no train is being held up to give the Vande Bharat trains priority over other trains.
4. Introduction Of Mumbai-Chandigarh Vande Bharat Demanded; Will Increase Tourism
The introduction of blue and white trains between Mumbai and Chandigarh is seeing a huge demand. The demand is by the members of the Shimla Hotel and Tourism Stakeholders Association. The Mumbai-Chandigarh Vande Bharat Express will travel to Ahmedabad and Surat in Gujarat after its launch.
In order to improve rail connectivity from the south, the organization has also requested Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The request is to bring up the issue with the Center. The other request is to run trains from Chennai and Bengaluru seven days a week. This will boost the state’s travel and tourism industries.
