The first image that pops up in our minds after hearing Vande Bharat Express is the white and blue trains. Well, now this semi-high-speed train is getting a grand makeover with new colours, additions, enhancements, features, and improvements. The new rakes of this Indian Railways operated-express train are getting developed and painted with saffron and grey colours. What are all the new and upcoming changes in this train? Let’s take a look at that!

Ashwini Vaishnaw Inspected The Development On 8 July

Ashwini Vaishnaw went to the Integrated Coach Factory in Chennai to inspect the Vande Bharat train production. Here are some glimpses of his visit to ICF early this month.

As shared in the pictures, the new exterior looks of the semi-high-train are clearly visible. The Railway Minister shared the inspiration behind the new saffron and grey theme train in the Indian national flag, according to a report by Zee News. Vande Bharat Express with these new rakes has not started operating yet. The train is now standing at Chennai’s Integral Coach Factory.

Vande Bharat Express Trains Are About To See All These Modifications:

Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared that a total of 25 improvements have been made to the trains. He shared how the development work and improvements are being implemented on the basis of feedback, according to a report by India Today. They are considering feedback and reviews from field units, regarding services during the train operations.

  • One of the new features is that seats can be reclined more than before.
  • Seats are getting better and comfortable cushions.
  • Panels are seeing some specific changes this time. Insulations on these panels are a major change. It is enhancing the air tightness to enjoy improved air conditioning cooling.
  • Washbasins are coming up with more depth.
  • Passengers are going to enjoy an improved experience in mobile charging as points are becoming more accessible.
  • Executive Chair Car is getting better and expanded footrest, according to a report by India TV News.
  • Also, seats at Executive Chair Car are going to get a makeover to blue from red.
  • All the toilet panets are getting proper colours.

These are just some of the many 25 improvements. So many changes and improvements are going on so that passengers can enjoy enhanced experiences while they are travelling on Vande Bharat Express.
