Indian Travellers Heading To Tier Two Cities To Explore Country’s Beauty

Wowtickets.com is a UK-based, travel booking platform. They recently did a survey to find out the preferred choice of travel destinations of Indians in 2024 and they found some interesting trends. This year Indians are opting to explore Tier-II cities in India like Guwahati, Pune, and Patna.

While cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru still top as major metro cities, these Tier-II cities also made it to the top 15 list. Besides the Tier-II cities, this year will also see a rise in spiritual tourism in India. So, Indians will see an increased footfall in historic cities like Varanasi. In general, Goa maintained its spot as the most searched Indian travel destination throughout the country.
