At a time when Air India is garnering a lot of attention for not the right reasons on social media, Chef Vikas Khanna recently praised the flight for its “impeccable service”. The Michelin-star Indian chef even called Air India, one of the most beautiful aircraft he has ever flown in. Read on to know all about his appreciation for the carrier.

Chef Vikas Khanna is not one to hold back on his appreciation for travel and food. The Chef has time and again taken to social media to share his fondest memories. While he currently adorns our TV screens as a judge on MasterChef India, the Michelin-star chef took to Twitter to share a video of his flying experience on Air India. In his video, the Chef gives a glimpse of the business class seats on the flight.

The blue-hued seats are plush with ample legroom space. There are spacious cabins and a small shelf in the corner to keep your belongings like a water bottle. There are white and gold fluffy pillows on each seat. Chef Vikas Khanna reveals in his tweet that Air India is one of the most beautiful aircraft he’s flown in. He called their service “impeccable” and reiterated that he was praising Air India itself.

In reply to the high-profile flyer’s tweet, Air India stated that they were delighted to impress him with their service. Air India further tweeted that it gives them immense pleasure to know that they could offer him a comfortable flying experience. And they can’t wait to share the skies with him again.

Netizens Don’t Agree With His View

While Air India immensely impressed Vikas Khanna, they were unable to impress Twitteratis. Many took to the Chef’s comments section to share their flying woes. @sumesh71680739 shared pictures of his wife’s business class seats on Air India and it looked nothing short of unpleasant. The pictures show the business class seat handles to be dirty and faded. @sid_mufc6 speculated that Vikas Khanna may have travelled on the delta planes that Air India leased recently. The flier shared that his recent experience on the aircraft entailed a broken tray and a dysfunctional entertainment screen.
