Wall Near Mumbai Airport Runway Collapsed

At the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, a wall next to the runway fell. The incident happened on Sunday at 6:40 p.m. On Monday, May 8, RTI activist Anil Galgali posted a video of the incident, which brought it to light. A barbed fence and the remains of the fallen wall were visible in the footage.

He claims that the runway is still close by despite the wall in front of the Jarimari graveyard on Kurla Andheri Road collapsing. According to his tweet, BMC workers were carrying out sewer work near the wall. The airport administration is moving very slowly on this matter despite the likelihood that it could endanger airport security. The airport administration is ignoring the necessity for immediate action.
