New York state has launched the Excelsior Pass that will make travel easy. The Passport Will Allow New Yorkers To Visit Freely Within State
The New York state’s first-of-its-kind platform was developed in partnership with IBM to confirm a vaccination proof or a recent negative PCR or antigen test. Think of it as a mobile airline mobile pass that will allow people to move around freely within the state. The Digital Passport Features A Secure QR Code
Each document features a secure QR code to scan. This vaccine passport will not only be a toolbox to fight the virus but also allow the economic sectors to open up. This passport will allow New Yorkers to enter theaters, stadiums, wedding receptions, and other social gatherings. They can move around freely at major venues like Manhattan’s Madison Square Garden and the Times Union Center in Albany.

After two successful pilot demonstrations, Excelsior Pass launched with an accompanying mobile wallet for users and a scanner application.
