The ODI team of Afghanistan cricket is in India right now for the ICC Men’s ODI Cricket World Cup. The team has surprised cricket fans with their spectacular performances and impressed everyone with their wins this year. Well, not just with cricket skills, an Afghanistan cricketer has impressed Indian fans with his noble gesture. Rahmanullah Gurbaz was seen silently helping some needy people on the streets of Ahmedabad.

Video Of Rahmanullah Gurbaz Helping People On The Footpath Is Going Viral

Taking to the X (formerly Twitter) platform, Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) has shared the video of a man recording Rahmanullah Gurbaz while he helped people sleeping on the streets of Ahmedabad.

According to the voiceover of the video, the wicketkeeper batter was distributing money to the homeless people at around 3 AM, in the early hours. The man spotted Gurbaz near Doordarshan Cross Road giving money to some people sleeping on the footpath. He got out of his car and gave money to the needy people sleeping there. He did not wake up anyone and simply kept the notes and went away.

Rahmanullah surely made the day for those people, especially during a grand festival like Diwali. It was a splendid gesture off the field by the Afghanistan cricketer and how he decided to help others to enjoy a happy Diwali this year. We are very impressed with his beautiful gesture for the people.

Netizens Are Very Happy After Seeing Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s Silent Service

Afghanistan cricketers have surely made a special place in Indian cricket fans’ hearts this year with their dominating performances in many matches of the ongoing cricket World Cup in India. Internet users have praised the team since the beginning of the marquee tournament. Gurbaz is one of the cricketers of the Afghanistan team who played a major impact in taking the team to the 6th position in the ICC Cricket World Cup points table.

After some great games, he is now winning everyone’s hearts with his silent services. Gurbaz did not share anything about him helping needy people on social media. A video captured by a local man of Ahmedabad is now making rounds on different social media platforms and making Netizens happy and joyful. Here’s how the Internet is applauding Gurbaz.

Taking to Instagram, the former Indian cricketer shared some glimpses of hosting the Afghanistan cricketers at his home for dinner.
