The recently opened Apple store in Mumbai’s BKC (Bandra Kurla Complex) is facing a long queue of people eager to buy the iPhone 15. Despite the fact that customers have been able to pre-purchase the newest iPhones since September 15, order delivery and in-store sales only started on Friday. For the first time, the availability of the iPhone 15 in India coincides with its general release.

Long lines began forming outside Apple stores in BKC, Mumbai, and Saket, New Delhi, early in the day, even before the doors to the stores opened. Several customers standing in the queue had flown in from different cities including Bangalore and Ahmedabad. They were standing since 4 am in the morning just to buy the newly-launched iPhone. Several of them were loyal Apple users and already had previous editions of the iPhone series.

The dynamic island feature and USB-C charging are both included in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, which were first introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. With 1,600 nits of brightness and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits in direct sunlight, the iPhone 15’s OLED Super Retina display supports Dolby Vision content and is twice as bright as the iPhone 14’s.
Additionally, a 48-megapixel main camera sensor and enhanced portrait mode are part of the improved camera system. Both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus have screens of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively. Both models are offered in pink, yellow, green, blue, and black. The starting price for the 128GB model of the iPhone 15 is USD 799, while the price for the 128GB model of the iPhone 15 Plus is USD 899.
