On July 31, Michelle Fairburn posted a TikTok video about the challenge, originally initiated by YouTuber Andy Frisella. The doctor recommended reducing her daily water intake from four litres to less than half a litre.

According to Mayo Clinic, extreme sodium deficiencies can be life-threatening if not treated promptly, said NDTV reports.

As per the reports, In the second video, she mentioned that sodium deficiency can be fatal. She said she would go to the hospital for a thorough check-up. Once there, they will gradually raise her sodium levels.
