The energy at the venue was electric from the very beginning. The excitement was simply off the charts! The fans were eagerly waiting for the moment they’d been dreaming of. And then came Lisa Mishra, the powerhouse vocalist, who set the perfect vibe with her soulful renditions of ‘Mujhe Tum Nazar Se,’ ‘Kabira,’ and more.

As the sun set, the moment everyone was waiting for finally arrived. Ed Sheeran walked on stage, rocking a t-shirt that proudly said ‘Delhi’ and the crowd truly went wild! He soaked it all in, smiled, and shouted, ‘It’s the last show of the tour; let’s go Delhi!’ Ed opened with ‘Castle on the Hill’, and from the very first note, the entire audience was singing along. The connection between him and his fans was unreal.

Whenever he’s on stage, he doesn’t just sing; he creates, he performs, and he delivers an experience where the audience is a part of his moment. With his loop pedal, he recorded and layered beats, harmonies, and guitar riffs live on stage, crafting songs from scratch right in front of us. His pure musical genius was ‘Perfect,’ impressing the fans as much as his soulful voice.

Fans screamed, danced, and sang their hearts out to hits like ‘Shivers,’ ‘Photograph,’ ‘I’m a Mess,’ and even a surprise mashup of ‘Take It Back/Superstition/Ain’t No Sunshine.’ But the most goosebumps-inducing moment? When Ed played ‘Perfect,’ the entire crowd sang along louder than him!

As the night neared its end, Ed turned things up to 1000% with his encore set. With ‘You Need Me, I Don’t Need You’, ‘‘Shape of You,’ ‘Bad Habits,’ he left Delhi breathless, savouring the perfect ending. As the performance ended, Ed Sheeran took a moment to express his gratitude, saying, “The last three weeks in India have been magical. I’ve learnt a lot. Thank you for welcoming me and hopefully, I will come back soon!”

With six electrifying stops across the country, Ed Sheeran’s + – = ÷ x Tour wasn’t just a concert series—it was a movement. Thanks to BookMyShow Live, Indian fans got to experience a truly global event.
