Emirates Crew Are Trained For Such Medical Emergencies

This quick and calm action by the crew of Emirates totally shows its commitment to the safety and well-being of its passengers. The cabin crew of Emirates is given proper training to handle such sudden medical emergencies. These emergencies include childbirth, heart attacks, and more.

Giving birth on a plane is not an uncommon occurrence, as many women have done in the past. The reasons have either been unexpected issues or medical complications. Women are not permitted to fly after a certain point in their pregnancy. In December 2022, a woman who gave birth to a child on the KLM Royal Dutch flight that went to Amsterdam from Guyaquil, Ecuador, did not even know that she was expecting.

This was not the very first time that a woman gave birth on an Emirates flight. In the year 2020, in May, a woman on a repatriation flight gave birth to a child. The flight flew from Dubai to Lagos.
