India’s largest city and the country’s economic powerhouse, Mumbai just got India’s first Texas-based convenience store 7-Eleven®. A subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL), this 7-Eleven store offers residents and tourists convenience, signature food, and drinks, as well as products specially curated to appeal to the local market. The store has opened up on the first floor of the Atul Blue Fortuna apartments on Military Road in Marol, Andheri East.
The Two-Storey Mumbai Store Houses A Cafe
While it launches first in Andheri, many more stores are anticipated to open later this year, in the Greater Mumbai cluster. The 7–Eleven brand’s entry into the country brings greater convenience to shoppers. What’s more, the two-storey 1,700-square-foot Mumbai store also houses a cafe. The store carries internationally popular products, snacks, beverages, and immediately consumable fresh foods with recipes developed for local tastes.

7-Eleven Store Has Outlets All Over The World
7-Eleven stores’ mission around the globe is the same: to give customers what they want, when, where, and how they want it. India will be the 18th country where 7–Eleven stores operate. The convenience store is already present in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, China, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Australia, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.

Founded in the United States, 7-Eleven was founded almost 100 years ago and has experienced rapid expansion over the last few years.
