World’s Largest Wooden Block Mosaic Displayed In Dubai

Dubai has added another Guinness World Record title to its already extensive list of world records & this time it is to mark the 47th UAE National Day.

What Is It?

The world’s largest painted wooden block mosaic has been unveiled depicting the ‘Year of Zayed’ logo. Which was developed by Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA). The DSOA also received its first-ever Guinness World Record title for it. The mosaic measures 224.12 square meters and comprises of 22,275 recyclable wooden mosaic blocks. It took 80 people contributing approximately 260 working hours over a period of 20 days, to complete this masterpiece which is on display at the DSOA headquarters.

The National Day will be celebrated across the UAE on December 2.
