World’s Very 1st Lego Café Opens Up In Dublin And It’s For Adults Too

Lego Brick Café opens in Dublin. If you’re wondering what’s special about this café, then let us tell you that Lego Café is specially designed to offer adults a fun play space. Yes, it aims at providing an inspiring space for adults to experience and play with Lego blocks. It was launched on World Mental Health day as it emphasises mental health issues.

The Lego Brick Café, which opened as a tribute to World Mental Health Month, welcomed its first customers to The Blackpits in Dublin 8. The LEGO Brick café will keep organising creativity workshops that will demonstrate many creative uses for LEGO bricks. The workshops will include activities that focus on mindfulness, animation, mosaic etc.

The Café Is Opened On A Trial Basis As Of Now

The cafe is on trial for 2 days. People’s interest in the café will help in assessing whether the doors should be fully reopened or not.

Speaking to The Independent, Kris Clarkin, the Dublin-based agency’s creative director said: “The activities associated with bricks can help in sharpening the memory, reducing stress, and increasing creativity. For generations, children and adults alike have challenged their creativity with the LEGO system during play. The authorities of Lego Café believe that play has been a great way to reduce mental issues.”
