You Can Now Travel Hassle-Free Between Bengaluru And Pune, Thanks To Akasa Air

Now you can travel between Bengaluru and Pune or vice versa with direct connectivity. The newly-launched airline Akasa Air recently announced that Pune has been added to its network. The newly added network in Pune will have direct connectivity to Bengaluru. This new service is slated to begin on November 23, 2022. Keep reading for more details.

Akasa Air: Bengaluru To Pune

There will be double-daily flights on the Bengaluru-Pune route. The first set of flights will begin on November 23, 2022. The airline said that it will add the second frequency on November 26, 2022. Pune will become the airline’s ninth new destination.

Pune will also be the second destination in the state of Maharashtra added to the airline’s network. Akasa Air’s co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer, Praveen Iyer, discussed the new Bengaluru-Pune route. He said that the airline is very happy to add Pune as its ninth destination in India and its second in Maharashtra.

The Airline Focuses On Its Fast-Expanding Network

Akasa Air is now looking to increase connectivity between Bengaluru and Mumbai due to growing demand. It announced that beginning November 24, 2022, the airline will begin operating on the popular Mumbai-Bengaluru route at sixth and seventh frequencies. With this, there will be seven daily flight options connecting the two metropolises of India.

Akasa will now offer 20 flights per day from Bengaluru to seven destinations —Delhi, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Chennai, Kochi, and Pune. Akasa Air is a newly launched airline and is expanding its network very fast in India.
