The exchange program has been organised under ‘Yuva Sangam’, an initiative under the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat’ scheme, and it is focused on improving the connection between Indian states. This exchange program is also a great step towards achieving that goal. This program broadly focuses on 5 themes: Prodyogik (technology), Paraspar Sampark (people-to-people connections), Pragati (development), Parampara (traditions), and Paryatan (tourism).

A total of 45 people from Goa in the age group of 18-30, belonging to different institutes will be visiting Himachal Pradesh to explore their land and culture. Likewise, a group of students from Himachal Pradesh will be travelling to Goa. These students are being given a great opportunity to dig through the different cultures of different Indian states.

These 45 students belong to different fields like commerce, arts, science, medicine, and engineering. The students from Goa will travel to Himachal Pradesh on May 15. Until their departure on May 24, they will be hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mandi.
