The footage, which has since gone viral, shows a cat-like animal in the background as BJP MP Durga Das Uikey greets President Droupadi Murmu after completing the oath procedure. This fleeting appearance has sparked a flurry of speculation and wild theories online about the creature’s identity.

Social media users have been abuzz with debates over whether the animal was a leopard, an ordinary cat, or perhaps even a dog. One user remarked, “Even from such a distant view, it seems big. It is one of the big cats, something like a tiger or a leopard. Or a lioness.” Another user commented, “By the look and walking style, it is of a cat family but the tail is not that of a cat!” Adding to the mix of opinions, a third user noted, “It looks like a puma.”
