Many Netizens took to the comment section to drool over this innovative culinary marriage. One person said that they were in Denmark and craving some Vada Pao when they came across this video. Another commenter said that the dish looked basically like a Gen-Z sibling of Aloo Pattice.

There were however a few naysayers who didn’t seem too keen on the dish. One person said that while they appreciated the creativity of the dish, calling it a Vada Pao would be a misnomer. Another person criticised its price point saying now this “vada pao” would be sold for ₹500.

Vada Pao are traditionally very cheap eats so this criticism of the dish is not entirely misplaced. However, crafting this delicate French pastry and then tailoring it to be conducive to Indian spices is a challenging task which justifies the high price point.
