What Is It?

GroovaRoo in Delhi is first-of-a-kind in India, started by Charul Jain who gets all moms to soul dance on Reggae and soulful music with their baby. She is the first internationally certified GroovaRoo Dance Teacher in India. In this dance, the parents wear their babies in Ergonomic carrier and groove to the rhythmic and soulful music.

What’s In It?

The unique concept involves parents to strap their baby around them and dance to joyful numbers. The babies are close to their body at all times which emphasizes on bonding and connecting with the baby with a low-impact workout session for the parents. One session lasts up to an hour with lots of footwork and Latin moves.

The main focus lies in boosting confidence in early parenthood and sharing a connection with your child. The babies usually sleep or they laugh around and shake a leg or two.

All safety guidelines are followed, including allowing only Ergonomic carriers which Charul even provides for the class if not brought by parents.

The mothers love the session who leave happy and ready to take on tasks for the entire day.
