Now, there are railway stations being redeveloped in India to look no less than airports. Take the case of the Ghaziabad Railway Station. The Ministry of Railways shared pictures of the swanky designs planned for the redeveloped Ghaziabad Railway Station. Here’s what’s in store.

Swanky Redevelopment Of The UP Station

Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad Railway Station is all set to get a swanky makeover worth ₹550 crores. The Railway Ministry shared the designs for the redevelopment of the station and they will leave you awestruck. The three-storey station will be modernised. Moreover, passengers can travel to and from Delhi. Around 200 trains will halt at the Ghaziabad Railway Station.

  4. Massive waiting area for passengers
  5. Beautiful steel benches for passengers to sit
  6. New foot over bridge
  7. Spacious restroom for passengers to relax
  8. Automatic vending machines
  9. LED display boards offering train information
  10. RO Drinking water

Apart from these luxurious amenities, the station will also be equipped with CCTV cameras to ensure the safety of its passengers. In the future, you can also expect an electric bus to take you across the station. Apart from this UP station, the ministry of Railways is involved in redeveloping 40 stations in India. This includes stations in crucial junctions like Somnath, Rameswaram, Madurai, Gwalior, Tirupati and more which welcome many pilgrims and tourists.
