Tough times make tough people. This line bears true for 19-year-old Sagar from Kolkata who recently took over his late father’s street food stall. Sagar lost his mother at a young age and his father, passed away from jaundice some time back. With the responsibility to pay for his younger sister’s education, the teenager reopened his father’s street food stall to earn a living.

A video shared by the Instagram handle, @okaysubho, shows Sagar running his late father’s street food stall at Gariahat, Kolkata. To support his endeavours, actress Swastika Mukherjee was also seen at the roadside outlet. She acknowledged his dedication. In the caption, it’s mentioned that 19-year-old Sagar has proven that things can be accomplished with great dedication and vision. The young lad has reopened his late father’s rice hotel and works towards fulfilling his father’s dream, to always keep this restaurant open.

Sagar dreams of opening his restaurant someday and dedicating it to his father. Through his example, the young man shows that one must pursue their passion against all obstacles. The Instagram handle urges foodies to support his dreams and be the wind beneath his vision. Moreover, it encourages people to pour kind words and appreciation in the comments section.
