If you watched MasterChef India 2023, then you are aware of the contestant who has shiny white hair and a big smile. It’s one of the top five contestants, Harish Closepet! He is also known as Harry or Lunchbox Chef on Instagram due to his famous Lunchbox series. He is the co-founder of Itsy Bitsy, which is a creative craft store. Harry is full of creativity, and he showcases it with the food he prepares. Another good thing is that he uses old, classic Bollywood songs, which makes you nostalgic while watching his reels.

This series came into being when he prepared lunchboxes for his daughter, Isha; you might see her in some of the videos. He also decided to launch these videos on the internet, and Harry’s Lunchbox is now his signature series.

Have you ever had fritters made out of peas? You will now, because MasterChef Harry has released the recipe. The batter is made of rava, rice flour, and flour. What is interesting is that these are not deep-fried! It is made in the appe pan. Check out the video to learn more. This dip is super cool as well. Try it once.

Watermelon rice was one of the dishes MasterChef contestant Harry prepared on the show and was a super duper hit. We bet you have never even heard of it before. Well,  this cancels out if you watched it on the show or his Instagram. No, the watermelons are not directly used; the freshly made juice is used. Instead of cooking the rice with just water, you cook it in the juice with spices. Wow, that’s crazy, and we might just try it.

This MasterChef has made a proper meal to satisfy your desi ghar ka khana cravings. Firstly, he made the simplest yet tempting pea pepper rice with corn, peas, coriander, salt, and pepper. Next, he went to make the best chilli broccoli you have ever tasted or seen. He made it with broken Byaadgi Chilli! The tomato crush is like a salsa, but better because he added sambar masala.

There is a procedure by which you have to eat this dish. You take a piece of chapati, put a spoonful of horsegram mixture, add masala aloo, and on top goes the spicy onion mixture. To elevate this grand bite of Horsegram Aloo Chaat, add a few drops of lemon juice. Then dig into it! This is totally delicious and has a unique twist on aloo chaat.

Well, you have gorged on Nutella crepes with strawberries, but have you ever had a garlic mayo crepe with boiled potatoes, peas, carrots, and spinach? Trust Harry, this lunchbox is not a weird combination! The garlic mayo is added to the veggies, and that is the filling. You make the crepe like a dosa to fill it with the veggies. To go with this, he prepared a honey chickpea salad.

6. Lunchbox: Tawa Pizza & Spinach Corn Medley

This one is a healthier version of pizza. It is basically making a pizza on a thinly rolled-out chapati with tomato sauce and toppings as you like. He covers it and cooks it for about 10 minutes on a low flame. The cheese was perfectly melted, and with that, he made a quick and easy spinach corn medley.
