Last year, Pratiksha Das, broke stereotypes by being Mumbai’s first and only female BEST bus driver. And now a mother of two Pooja Devi is in control of steering in J&K. She created history by becoming the first woman driver in J&K to drive a bus. She recently made her maiden trip from her hometown Kathua to Jammu.

The mother of two who comes from a remote village, Sandhar-Basohli in Kathua district is hugely passionate about driving. She has been behind the wheel since she was a teenager and always wanted to drive heavy vehicles.
