In a recent report by the United Nations Centre for Competitiveness and Statistics, Ajman ranked first. Yes, this ranking was awarded for the residents feeling safe when going out alone at night. The details were revealed in a video by Ajman Police HQ that was posted on their official account on X (formerly Twitter). Yes, scoring 98.5%, people felt secure when going out alone at night in Ajman.
Not The Only Ranking Where The Emirate Has Performed Well
However, not just this, the Emirate also scored 99.6% of the residents feeling secure in general. In fact, this comes after Ajman was listed to be among the top 10 safest cities in the world. Taking the fourth spot, this report was published by Numbeo for the year 2023. In fact, Abu Dhabi was ranked first while Sharjah and Dubai snagged the fifth and seventh spots respectively. It’s worth noting that these ratings have established the nation’s global position, as an ideal destination for security, stability, and prosperity.

Abu Dhabi Has Also Done Well On Such Lists
In fact, according to the results of Numbeo for 2024, Abu Dhabi was again ranked at number one. In the same ranking list, it was revealed that Ajman, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah were featured to be among the top six cities, globally. The safety index for Abu Dhabi was 86.8
