All Coronavirus Cases In The UAE Will Be Treated FREE Of Cost

Its not knew that the UAE always makes decision for the welfare of its residents. And, this time again our country makes us mighty proud. The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Ministry of Health and Prevention (Mohap), have issued a notice to all DHA-licensed health facilities that all coronavirus cases must in the region must be treated FREE of cost. What’s It?

According to a new circular issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Ministry of Health and Prevention, all DHA-licensed health facilities must treat coronavirus cases free of any cost. Irrespective of whether the patients have insurance or not, the patients must be given preference and treated with no delay. Hospitals are advised to divide the 2019-nCoV cases in two categories: One for those with insurance covered and another where no insurance coverage is provided.

Patients with insurance will be treated on priority and all insurance companies must comply with any and all claims received. On the other hand, those without insurance will be treated as emergency and will not have to pay the cost of the healthcare or the healthcare facilities.

As of today, the UAE has confirmed five Coronavirus cases in the region.

The exact animal source responsible for this outbreak is not yet identified, but research papers indicate that bats and snakes might be the culprits.
