Ask anyone in a long-distance relationship about their experiences, they will always share how difficult it is staying so far away from each other. When it is across borders, it becomes more strenuous with the distance and time differences. It is truly a horrible feeling and one really has no solution for this long-distance relationship. An Indo-Korean couple is living apart for months now and they are trying very hard to be together. Unfortunately, nothing is falling into place.

Nishtha Bhakuni married the love of her life, Kyeong-Su Park, following Indian traditions in Noida in February 2021. The couple travelled to South Korea to tie the knot once again, but this time in Korean rituals. They left for the journey in June 2022 and completed all their traditions and ceremonies with joy and laughter.

Things took a turn when the Indo-Korean couple thought of coming back. Kyeong-Su Park’s visa to return to India got denied. Unfortunately, Nishtha returned to her country alone and since then they are staying almost 5,000 km apart. Her husband is in South Korea at the moment and is waiting for visa approval so that he can meet his wife.

Her Husband Is Staying Alone In Seoul

It has been almost 5 months of continuously trying for approval but all efforts are going in vain. The Indo-Korean couple is trying everywhere possible for visa approval. The worst part is that Kyeong-Su is living secluded in a Seoul hotel not only away from his wife but from family as well. He is living there since June 2022 and his family is not aware of all these unfortunate things. They think their son and daughter-in-law are enjoying their new journey in India.

She shared her experience with Asian Community News Network. While talking about her story, she also shared that her family took 2.5 years to agree to her marrying a foreigner, someone of different nationality. Her husband stayed in India for the last 10 years as he was an employee of a company in Noida. He never faced such issues with his visa during that time. But as he decided to start his own venture by leaving his job, everything took a massive turn. The COVID-19 pandemic left a huge impact on his business and visa.

It is only about time to see when he finally gets the visa approval. We’re rooting for this couple!
