Beaches are popular destinations that everyone looks forward to when visiting coastal locations. Open space, warm sand, and ocean breezes combine to make the ideal beach day. However, the tourism department of Andhra Pradesh (AP) is planning to make some changes for people visiting beaches. The tourism department of Andhra Pradesh intends to charge entry to well-known beaches like Maipadu, Kakinada, Ramayapatnam, Rushikonda, and Suryalanka beginning January 1.

Kandula Durgesh, the tourism minister, affirmed a plan to increase beach facilities while keeping maintenance expenses managed, as reported by The Times of India. The plans call for improving the cleanliness and beauty of major beaches as well as building resorts through private partnerships.
