Soumya Zelmat, reflecting on the inauguration, stated that the opening of the new visa centre dedicated to France reaffirms their commitment to facilitating exchanges between France and the UAE. This is achieved by providing efficient and transparent services to all those wishing to visit France, which this year, once again, is the most visited country in the world.
A Growing Demand For France As A Preferred Destination
Ms. Monaz Billimoria, Regional Head at VFS Global, highlighted the increasing demand for France as a destination. She mentioned that there has been a 45 per cent growth in France visa applications in the UAE as of November 2023 compared to November 2022. Expressing excitement, she conveyed the welcoming of applicants to the new premises and extended gratitude to the Embassy of France in Abu Dhabi for their support.

Travellers utilizing this centre can opt for various services, including a courier return service for processed passports, Prime Time for submitting applications outside business hours, professional visa assistance and form filling, among other conveniences.
