Artists Across India Are Creating Badass Artworks & Inspiring Women Not To Compromise

Isn’t it all about feeling comfortable in our own skin? Certainly as social beings we feel the desire to be a part of social networks. But the fact is, society has shaped the public’s mindsets with false expectations on how women should look like and behave. Intending to challenge such stereotypes, ITC’s Vivel is kicking off a wonderful initiative. Vivel is bringing together artists to weave a narrative around ‘being unapologetically yourself’ through art. Read on to know more.

A Self-Love Campaign Inspiring Women To be Comfortable In Their Skin

Society has set unrealistic standards for women which is why many women find it difficult to be comfortable in their skin. Self-confidence is still a work in progress for many women. But with ITC Vivel’s new initiative, the self confidence revolution is well and truly upon us. Women shouldn’t have to compromise and let society dictate norms. And that is the message that Vivel is giving with its philosophy ‘Ab Samjhauta Nahin’, which means ‘No More Compromise’.

Breaking Gender-Based Stereotypes With Art

Did you know that the ‘V’ in Vivel stands for the voice of women? The brand is living up to its name by inspiring women to utter the words ‘Ab Samjhauta Nahin’. The young artists participating in the campaign and weaving a narrative around being comfortable in your skin with art, is highly impressive. We cannot wait to watch the artists paint their canvas with their interpretations of self love. Indeed, what a creative way to motivate society and challenge the status quo on gender-based stereotypes.

The Campaign Celebrates Women

This wonderful campaign is showing the world that a woman can be stunning no matter her colour, looks, or status. ITC Vivel is calling you to be the face of its path-breaking campaign. The campaign is celebrating a woman’s beauty — both inside and out. Being comfortable in your skin means being creative, being confident, having fun and most of all, being true to yourself.

Body Shaming – An Unfortunate Reality

Body shaming women has been normalised and has been an ongoing social practice for a very long time. It starts from your home and somehow the culture around body shaming seems to never mellow down. Also, body-shaming is one of the most serious forms of bullying, harassment, and humiliation. It is a vicious cycle of judgment and criticism that needs to stop.

Vivel’s power campaign is a testimony to breaking gender stereotypes in society. It is inspiring many more to come out and make the right move toward gender empowerment.
